This was an online drive for an Associate role with Hitachi Vantara. The first round, "Coding + MCQ," included two basic hands-on problems on arrays and strings, described as easily solvable for those with practice on LeetCode. There were also 80 MCQ questions covering data structures, aptitude, basic computer fundamentals, and basic web development. After 15-20 days, 90 out of 1400 candidates were shortlisted for the second round. The second round, the Technical Interview, occurred 5 days after the results. The interviewer started with a discussion about hobbies (singing and cooking were mentioned in the resume), followed by personal questions about family and technical skills. The interviewer then probed about web development familiarity, asking basic questions like "How many heading tags are there?". This round lasted 20-25 minutes. The candidate was shortlisted for the HR round on the same day.
