The hiring process for the TSE role for the 2025 batch was conducted on-campus, with technical and HR rounds held virtually on Zoom.
Round 1 (Online Assessment - Aptitude & Technical MCQs): This round consisted of around 80+ questions. It included sections on aptitude and technical subjects (like DBMS, OS, CN, OOPs). The difficulty was easy to medium.
Round 2 (Coding Round): This round had two coding questions to be solved in 30 minutes. Both questions were described as easy, primarily focusing on arrays and strings, requiring basic use of data structures. Identifying test cases was noted as a challenge. Candidates were advised to solve both completely.
Round 3 (Behavioral Round / Psychometric Test): This was an online behavioral round, similar to a psychometric test. Candidates had to choose "what best describes you" from three options, then from the remaining two. This was also an elimination round and required full attention.
Round 4 (Technical + HR Interview): This combined round lasted about 25-30 minutes. The interviewers focused on the candidate's resume and projects. Questions were generally about technical skills and projects. The HR part included standard behavioral questions. Confidence and presence of mind were highlighted as key.
Tips: Be flexible, confident, attentive, and smile. Ask 1-2 questions at the end to show interest. Practicing on platforms like LeetCode is beneficial, especially for array and string problems.
