Round 1 (Online Test): The online test consisted of 3 questions. Question 1 was similar to "Program to find whether a given number is power of 2" (Easy). Question 2 was also Easy, requiring finding a bug in given code. Question 3 was Medium to Hard, described as a dice-related problem. The candidate successfully solved all three questions.
Round 2 (Technical Interview 1): The interview started with a brief introduction, followed by a 20-minute rapid-fire session on computer fundamentals. Questions included: Building blocks of OOPs and explanation, types of polymorphism, types of inheritance with real-time examples, difference between overloading and overriding, virtual function and abstract class, ACID properties in DBMS, indexing in DBMS, deadlock, and difference between TCP and UDP. After this, the interviewer asked the candidate to share their screen and solve two coding questions: "Buy and Sell Stock" and "Left View of a Binary Tree". The candidate explained their project.
Round 3 (Technical Interview 2): This round began with a brief technical introduction. The interviewer then asked the candidate to share their screen and open a compiler to solve two coding questions. Both questions were of Medium difficulty: "Column Name from a Given Column Number" and its reverse problem (given a string, return an integer accordingly). The candidate successfully completed these.
HR Round: The candidate received a call from HR the same day after clearing Technical Interview 1, inviting them to the HR round. The overall result was selection for the "Trainee + Software Engineer- I" position.
