This interview experience is for a Summer Intern position in Commercial Banking in Melbourne. The hiring process was split into three general stages.
This stage included a standard online application (CV, cover letter, short written statement, and grade submission). Initial testing comprised semi-gamified assessments with written and personality components.
Conducted via Hireview, this involved answering prompts with recorded responses. Candidates were given 90-180 seconds to prepare for each question. These questions were primarily behavioral, with some vaguely resembling case studies, but not strictly formatted as such. No written component was involved in this virtual interview.
This stage involved an interview with two team managers from the teams the intern would potentially be exposed to. Candidates were emailed a case study and given twenty minutes to prepare before logging into the interview. The interview immediately started with a case roleplay, described as a simple sales-oriented affair. The second half of the interview focused on standard personality questions, with no real technical questions asked.

Overall Experience: The process was professional and fast. The candidate received an offer via phone call about an hour after the final interview but ultimately declined it.
