Experience:

This interview experience for GlobalLogic was an on-campus drive consisting of an online round, a Group Discussion (GD), and three interview rounds (two technical and one HR).

Round 1: Online Round
Duration: 2 hours. Comprised of 40 MCQs and 3 programming questions. MCQs were based on aptitude, logical reasoning, C output, and OOPs. The candidate solved 2 coding questions and attempted all MCQs.

Coding Questions Mentioned:

  • Find the Nth number divisible by either 'a' or 'b'.
  • Given 'n' strings, for each input, print "YES" or "NO" whether the current string is already present or not.

Round 2: Group Discussion Round
Students were divided into groups of 7. Topics were not specified.

Round 3: Technical Interview Round-1
Questions included:

  • Why GlobalLogic?
  • Given a string, write full code to reverse that string word by word.
  • Write full code to sort an array consisting of only 3 distinct numbers (3, 4, and 5). The size of the array is not known.
  • Given 9 balls, one is defected. Using a weighing machine at most twice, how will you find the defected ball?
  • Given a task apart from coding, would you be comfortable with it? (Asked because the candidate mentioned liking algorithms and coding).
