The second technical round began with discussions on Java 8 features such as lambdas, streams, and functional interfaces. The interviewer then shifted focus to the Spring framework, specifically filters and their implementation, and the bean lifecycle in Spring. The factory method design pattern and its implementation using Spring annotations were also discussed. Additionally, the candidate was asked the famous Trapping Rain Water problem.
