FactSet visited the campus in the first week of August. The process started with a company presentation.
Round 1: Written Technical Test
This was a written coding test lasting 75 minutes with 3 questions. Candidates were expected to write the main logic function.
29 students were selected after this round.
Round 2: Technical Interview 1
This round lasted almost an hour and 15 minutes. Questions were primarily based on data structure and algorithm skills, assessing the approach to solutions and efficiency.
16 students were selected for the second technical round.
Round 3: Technical Interview 2 (and HR)
This round lasted almost 1 hour and 45 minutes for the candidate, divided into technical and HR parts. Most candidates had only a technical part lasting about 1 hour.
The HR part involved standard HR questions and asking if the candidate had any queries. Some candidates who only had technical questions in this round had a separate, purely HR round later.
Tips: Focus on data structure and algorithm skills, be confident and honest.
