Round 1: Online Assessment

The test consisted of 3 medium to hard-level coding questions. The candidate solved 2 completely and 1 partially. Two days later, the candidate was informed of selection for the next rounds.

Round 2: LLD Interview (1.5 hours)

After an introduction, the interviewer immediately presented a question involving the implementation of a social media platform. The task included creating/deleting posts, following/unfollowing users, and getting feeds of up to 10 posts, with 5 functions to implement (2 bonus). The candidate completed all functions within an hour. The remaining 30 minutes involved questions related to database schema and queries.

Round 3: Managerial Interview (40 minutes)

This round started with introductions, followed by questions about projects and the tech stack used. Technical questions covered ACID properties, mutex, and semaphores. The last 15 minutes included non-technical/behavioral questions, such as "Tell me about an incident where you felt low and how you overcame it." The candidate asked questions at the end, and the interviewer seemed satisfied. The final verdict was rejection, and the candidate did not receive proper feedback despite asking HR.

Learnings: Practice LLD continuously and revise CS Fundamentals.
