This test assessed various skills through multiple-choice questions. It included sections on quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal abilities, and computer science subjects such as Operating Systems, DBMS, Computer Networks, and OOPS. Candidates had 45 minutes to attempt 60 questions.
- Interview Round 1 (Technical)
After receiving information about the interviews within half an hour of the test, the first round was technical. The interviewer asked basic questions about the candidate's chosen programming language (C++ in this case). Questions related to basic Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) were posed, covering Array, String, Sorting, Searching, Stack, and Queue. This round lasted approximately 25 minutes.
- Interview Round 2 (Technical/Managerial)
Following a brief 10-minute break, the candidate was called for the second technical round. The interviewer showed interest in the candidate's projects and requested a live demonstration on their laptop. The interviewee expressed enthusiasm for development while assuring willingness to work in testing if required. A question about the full form of "OTT" was asked, related to one of the candidate's projects (a Movie web app). The entire interview lasted about an hour, including technical challenges and discussions.
Selection Outcome: After a week, the candidate received an email confirming selection as a Software Engineer at EXL Service.
