The process for the QA Engineer role at EQ Technologic consisted of five rounds. The first round was a shortlisting based on applications through the TPO portal.

Round 2: Online Test (Aptitude and Coding)

This round had 14 aptitude questions and 2 coding questions. The aptitude questions were logical reasoning (direction, series, patterns) and were easy to solve within 14 minutes. The two coding questions were of an easy to medium level, and the candidate solved both in 20 minutes with all test cases passing. Specific coding questions included "Pattern Printing" and "Remove Vowels from String".

Round 3: Technical Interview Round 1

This interview was conducted on Microsoft Teams. It started with a formal introduction. The interviewer asked about prior knowledge of testing and then requested the candidate to write all test cases related to the login page of a banking website. A simple coding question was also asked. Following this, there were questions on Databases, including writing SQL queries for two given tables and three problem statements, which the candidate answered correctly, impressing the interviewer. Some basic web development questions were also part of this round. The interviewer was impressed and sent the candidate to the second technical round.

Round 4: Technical Interview Round 2

The interviewer asked the candidate to write test cases for WhatsApp, for which the candidate wrote around 40 test cases in a notepad and explained them. The interviewer seemed satisfied with the answers.

Round 5: HR Interview

The HR interview was scheduled for the next day. (Details not provided in the snippet).

Tips: The candidate suggested practicing aptitude questions and coding on platforms like GeeksforGeeks and LeetCode, and maintaining a CGPA above 8 for shortlisting. It was also advised to remain calm during the test.
