College: Techno University

Interview Date: July 2019

Interview Type: On-Campus Interview

Result: Not selected

Difficulty: Medium (pH test), Aptitude test was fumbled.

Rounds: 2 main rounds (Written Round - eLitmus pH test, Personal Interview Round)

Topics Asked: Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning (Crypt arithmetic), Verbal English, Interrogative aptitude test

Experience:

This experience describes an on-campus drive organized by eLitmus Evaluation Pvt Ltd. The candidate registered online and was briefed about the process, which required clearing an eLitmus pH test to be eligible for the personal interview round.

Written Round – eLitmus pH test
This was an offline, pen-and-paper test lasting 120 minutes. It consisted of three sections: Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal English. Each section had 20 questions, with each question carrying 10 marks (total 200 marks per section).

A significant and difficult part of the Logical Reasoning section was Crypt arithmetic, with 4 to 5 questions. Successfully solving these could increase one's percentile by about 40%. The candidate prepared using online materials, including PrepInsta.

The candidate cleared the written test, receiving an email after a week confirming qualification for the personal interview round with percentiles above the eligibility criteria.

Personal Interview Round
This round had two parts, but the candidate did not progress past the first part. This first part was described as an "interrogative aptitude test" where the candidate felt confused. Out of 35 candidates, only 3 were taken for further evaluation after this stage, and the candidate was not among them.

The candidate expressed dissatisfaction with the interview structure and evaluation process, noting that it took almost a whole day without getting a chance to meet the panel or prove themselves, despite a good percentile in the eLitmus test.
