EagleView visited a college campus in October 2019 for Full-Time Employee (FTE) hiring. The process included an online coding test and two technical interviews.
Round 1: Online Test on Codility Platform
Questions were based on Dynamic Programming and Bitmasking, and were of moderate difficulty. Out of over 40 students, only 8 advanced to the next round.
Round 2: Technical Interview
The interviewer began with an introduction and then asked about the candidate's projects, specifically a Deep Learning project. Questions covered the complete pipeline flow of the project. Following this, the interviewer inquired about familiar data structures, including stacks, queues, trees, and graphs. Specific questions asked were:
- Comparison of Array and Linked List.
- Comparison of Stack and Queue.
- Implement a stack from scratch.
- Counting the number of islands in a graph.
The interviewer also asked about an NLP project for predicting Stack Overflow Tags, focusing on its pipeline and the model used.
Round 3: Technical Interview - Taken by Director of Engineering in India
This round also started with formal introductions. Since the candidate was familiar with JavaScript, the interviewer focused on testing knowledge in that area. Questions included:
- How to get the host address using JavaScript?
- What happens when you type a URL in the address bar of a browser and press enter?
- How does a Browser Work?
The NLP project was also discussed further, with questions about its pipeline flow and the model. The overall experience was smooth, with interviews being mostly resume-based and a strong interest in candidates with Deep Learning and Web Development experience. The candidate received a call from HR confirming selection shortly after this round.
