Online Assessment: This round consisted of 3 coding questions and had a duration of 1.5 hours.
Technical Round 1 (60 min): The interview began with a self-introduction and a discussion of the resume. The first 30 minutes were dedicated to a full-stack project, where the candidate detailed its features and architecture. Questions related to API, authentication mechanisms, different types of databases, and their implementation were asked. The subsequent 30 minutes focused on Data Structures and Algorithms, with two questions presented.
The first DSA question was the "Chocolates Distribution Problem": given an array of students' ratings, determine the minimum number of chocolates required such that a student with a higher rating than their neighbor receives more chocolates. The second question was the "Pair Sum Problem": find a pair of numbers in an array of positive integers whose sum equals a specified target, and explain the changes needed to accommodate negative numbers in the array.
