Rohan Arora shared his off-campus interview experience for a Software Engineer position at Dover Corporation, which he applied for during his fourth year of college via FirstNaukri. He received an offer but ultimately rejected it.
Round 1: Online Assessment
This round consisted of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering Aptitude, Mathematical Aptitude, Operating Systems (OS), Database Management Systems (DBMS), and Computer Networks (CN).
Round 2: Technical Round
The questions asked in this round were described as quite simple. They mostly revolved around OOPs concepts, SQL queries, and some questions related to OS and DBMS. A coding question was also asked, which was considered "very, very simple," comparable to the level of Infosys, Wipro, or TCS.
Round 3: HR + Managerial Round
This combined round featured relatively simple questions. Behavioral questions, similar to those asked in other major IT companies, were posed. The discussion also included typical HR questions such as career aspirations, strengths, and weaknesses. The offered CTC for a fresher was 6.5 LPA. Rohan rejected the offer due to his preference for working in internet companies over manufacturing companies for software development roles, seeking a better learning experience.
