Difficulty: Online Coding Round: Easy
Rounds: 5 rounds (Online Coding Round, Technical Round 1, Technical Round 2, PROFIT Round, HR Round)
Topics Asked: Data Structures, Algorithms (Largest Sum Contiguous Subarray, Count Possible Paths Top-Left to Bottom-Right in NXM matrix), Operating Systems, Computer Networks, DBMS, MySQL Joins, Behavioral (situational questions, HOD name)
Round 1 (Online Coding Round): This round consisted of 3 coding questions. The difficulty was described as "pretty easy."
Round 2 (Technical Round 1): Out of 400 students, 18 were selected for this round. The interviewer started by making the candidate comfortable. A coding question on "Largest Sum Contiguous Subarray" was asked. The candidate explained the brute force and optimized solutions and implemented it without errors, creating a good impression.
Round 3 (Technical Round 2): All 18 students from the previous round advanced. After an introduction, the interviewer asked about the candidate's strong area, which was Data Structures. A DSA question was asked, and the candidate impressed the interviewer with a quick and error-free solution. Following this, in-depth questions on OS, CN, and DBMS were asked. The candidate admitted to struggling in this part.
Round 4 (PROFIT ROUND - Professional Fitness Round): 12 out of 18 students were selected for this round. The interviewer asked, "Who is your HOD?" The candidate admitted to not knowing, which was found out by the interviewer. Other questions included a puzzle (logic only, no coding) and a question on MySQL joins, with a self-rating on joins. The round also covered general DBMS, OS, and CN concepts.
Round 5 (HR Round): This round included questions like, "Why there was a decrement in your CGPA?", "What kind of job are you looking for?", "How is the condition in Delhi?", "Something you have learned apart from studies?", and "Your experience of working in a team." The candidate was honest about financial motivations and extra-curricular activities.
