Dassault Systemes conducted campus placements involving three main rounds. The first round was an Objective Aptitude Test lasting 50 minutes. It consisted of 60 MCQ questions on quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning, divided into two sections (40 questions in 20 minutes and 20 hard questions in 30 minutes) with negative marking.
Round 2, Technical Interview 1, focused on introductions, project discussions (less emphasis on internships), and favorite subjects like OOP, DSA, DBMS, and OS. The interviewer asked to create class diagrams for systems (e.g., Reservation Bill generation) and solve puzzles (e.g., arranging sticks to form squares, coding-decoding strings).
Round 3, Technical Interview 2, was conducted for students who didn't fit the first interview department but were considered valuable. Some students were shifted between interview batches. The candidate was not selected. The experience emphasizes preparing in OOP, C++, and DBMS, noting that DSA questions are usually low-chance and focus on basic concepts. An HR interview followed, after which 18 students received Internship + Pre-placement offers.
