Experience:

This virtual interview process for an Associate Software Engineer role at Altimetrik consisted of four rounds.

Round 1 (Online Test): The test lasted about 1 hour and included aptitude and coding questions. The questions were not very difficult, and a person with basic DSA knowledge could solve the two coding questions.

Round 2 (Technical Round-I): This round was approximately 20 minutes long. It began with a self-introduction, followed by questions about the candidate's favorite programming language and the reasons behind it. As the candidate was from ECE, they were asked about their interest in the IT field. A coding question based on QUEUE was posed, along with two basic aptitude questions. The interviewer also inquired about the candidate's native place, project explanation, and internship experience.

Round 3 (Technical Round-II): This round lasted around 25 minutes. Questions included an introduction, explanation of OOPS concepts, whether Java supports multiple inheritance and why, how Java supports multiple inheritance through classes, and explanations of JDK, JRE, and JVM. The interviewer also asked about the current version of Java.

Round 4 (HR Round): The final HR round was about 15 minutes. It covered personal introduction, family background, expected salary, project explanation, any new technologies being learned, and knowledge about the organization.
