This on-campus drive for SDE C++/Java & SDET roles started with an online assessment.
Round 1: Online Assessment (65 minutes)
Round 2: Long Coding Round (6-7 hours)
This was an on-campus drive that required completing a coding challenge in a virtual machine (VM) environment. HR set up the VM a day before. On the day, there was a detailed problem description session and a chance to clarify doubts. Candidates were divided into individual mentor meets where a mentor guided and resolved doubts for three candidates. Mentors emphasized designing data structures, elements, and functions for an efficient problem-solving approach. After design approval, coding commenced. The candidate designed the coding problem, implemented 2-3 functions, but faced a hurdle with memory optimization, causing the code to use more memory than required. Despite the mentor providing additional time, a solution wasn't found, leading to the candidate's elimination after 3.5 hours.
The candidate was selected for Round 2 but did not make it to the next round. The package offered for this role was around 33 Lac INR, including a 16 Lac base, 19k USD in stocks, relocation, and a sign-on bonus, with 50K INR per month during the internship. Eligibility criteria included a B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology with an 8 CGPA / 80% and above.
