Experience:

Citibank visited the campus for the role of PBWM Technology Analyst. The recruitment process had two steps after the Pre-Placement Talk.

Round 1: Online Assessment: Conducted on the SHL (AMCAT) platform with four sections and sectional timers. There was no negative marking.

• **Verbal and English Language Aptitude:** MCQs on vocabulary, comprehension, and basic grammar.
• **Quantitative Aptitude:** MCQs on topics like work and time, probability, permutations and combinations, percentages, ages, profit and loss. Time management was key.
• **Computer Programming:** Mostly MCQs based on OOPs in C/C++, searching & sorting techniques, and basic data structures like arrays, stacks, queues, and trees. This section was easy.
• **Coding Section:** Two questions with a total time limit of 45 minutes. The level was generally easy-medium, similar to interval problems. Some candidates received hard-level questions on graphs. The candidate received two easy questions and passed all test cases.

After the online assessment, 20 people were shortlisted for the interview process.

Round 2: Techno-HR Round: This round lasted about 35 minutes on Zoom with two friendly interviewers.

The interview started with a self-introduction, followed by a discussion of previous internships and tools used.

Technical questions included: "What is a Full Join?", "Difference between Primary Key and Unique Key?", "What are the different types of Normalization?", "Explain ACID properties", "What is indexing?", "What is Polymorphism?", "Explain Abstraction and Encapsulation with real-life examples", "What is Inheritance?", "What is Paging, Segmentation, and Thrashing?", "What is Deadlock?", "Difference between OSI and TCP/IP model?", "Difference between HTTP and HTTPS?", "What is DNS?", "What is a Load Balancer?", "Difference between Router and Switch?".

HR questions included "Why do you want to join Citi?", "What are your strengths and weaknesses?".
