Round 1: Online Test
This round consisted of 25 MCQ-based questions and 2 coding questions. The coding questions were considered "cakewalk level". MCQs primarily focused on the output of programs (pointer-based and aptitude). A total of 16 students were shortlisted from 70-80 applicants.
Round 2: Technical Interview (Pen paper-based)
The interviewer asked for an introduction and discussed the internship project in detail, especially SaaS projects, as Celigo is a SaaS-based company. Two coding questions were asked: "Maximum sum path across two arrays" and "Program to generate possible valid IP addresses given a string". The candidate was asked to provide an approach, write code, and optimize it. This round lasted for 1 hour.
Round 3: Technical Interview (Pen Paper-based)
After introductions, the interviewer asked about future goals, academics, and projects. This round lasted for 1 hour and 10 minutes. 3 students were shortlisted for the final round.
Round 4: HR Round + Another Technical Round
This round involved an HR person and a senior manager. The HR asked for an introduction and questions about the last internship experience, culture, higher education plans, and reasons for a lower CGPA. The senior manager asked if the candidate was comfortable with trees and then gave a code snippet to determine the output, which involved binary tree traversal with conditional logic and recursion. The round lasted 40 minutes. The candidate was rejected in this final HR round, with only one student being selected.
