Experience:

C-DOT visited the campus for a full-time Research Engineer position. Eligibility criteria included a CGPA of 7 CPI or above for the general category and 6 CPI or above for SC/ST/PH/OBC, with age limits also specified.

Round 1: Resume-Based Shortlisting
Candidates were shortlisted based on their resumes. Emphasis was placed on making the resume attractive by including more projects and technical knowledge (subjects + language), and certifications.

Round 2: Technical + HR Interview
This was a single interview conducted by a panel of two people, lasting approximately 25 minutes.

• Asked to explain projects and follow-up questions regarding them.
• "Difference between AI, ML, and DL."
• "Explain Convolution Network."
• "Why C-DOT?"
• "Time Complexity to Find the largest leaf node."
• "Tell your favorite data structure and its real-world applications."
• Asked about current Thesis work (as the candidate's specialization was Data Science, most questions were from ML and DL and the ongoing thesis).
• "Will you be able to relocate to Delhi?"

The results were announced on the same day, and the candidate was selected.

Tips: Be thorough with your projects and thesis (if a Master's student), and the basics of all subjects (mostly Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Data Structures, and Database Management Systems).
