This was an on-campus recruitment drive for the Capgemini Exceller program in 2023-24. The process involved four rounds, with each round being an elimination round.
Round 1: Online Assessment Test
This round was conducted on February 17, 2024, on the Aspiring Minds Platform. It had multiple sections, including Technical Aptitude (25 questions in 25 minutes, covering Pseudocodes and Computer Fundamentals), Essay Writing, and a Game-based Test. All sections were elimination rounds. For the Communication Test, candidates had to listen to audio clips and repeat sentences, and speak for one minute on a given topic (extempore).
Round 2: Coding Assessment
This round took place on February 16, 2024, at the college. Students eligible for the coding round could get packages of A4(P) & A5 based on their performance. Those who didn't clear the previous rounds were not eligible for coding and only considered for the A4 package. There were two questions, one based on Arrays and another on Stack. The difficulty level was intermediate.
Round 3: Online Communication Test
This was an elimination round conducted for all eligible candidates. It involved tasks like introducing oneself, describing a major project, discussing the role in the project and technologies used, and questions on certifications. Specific questions included "What is AI & ML?", "What is Q learning?", "What is Reinforcement Learning?", "1 question on K-means Clustering", "What is inheritance?", "Write a code for multilevel inheritance", and "What is Class loader in Java?".
Round 4: HR Interview
This was also an elimination round, conducted virtually on the Superset platform on February 28, 2024, lasting 25-30 minutes. Questions included "Introduce Yourself," "Describe your major project" (with cross-questions and deep discussion on technology), and "Many Questions on the certification." The interviewer also asked "What is AI & ML?", "What is Q learning?", "What is Reinforcement Learning?", "1 question on K-means Clustering", "What is inheritance?", "Write a code for multi-level inheritance", and "What is Class loader in Java?".
