Detailed experience
The process consisted of an Online Assessment, Technical Interview and HR Interview. The OA had four sections: Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Coding and Verbal Ability. Logical Reasoning included coding-decoding, directions and blood relations, while Quant covered ratio and proportion, profit/loss and percentage changes. The coding section had two LeetCode-style questions, with candidates receiving different questions, and Verbal Ability tested grammar and reading comprehension. Out of 121 candidates, 34 were shortlisted for the technical interviews. The Technical Interview started with an introduction and focused on core CS fundamentals. Questions covered the four pillars of Java OOP, and I was asked to write code demonstrating polymorphism and encapsulation. This was followed by questions on Stack and recursion, including writing and explaining a recursive example. The interviewer also asked me to explain and write the solution to one of my OA coding questions. The discussion then moved to DBMS, including cardinality, normalization, SQL queries, types of joins and stored procedures. Finally, I was given a logical puzzle and had to derive the answer step by step and dry-run it. The HR Interview was a mix of behavioural, project and company-awareness questions. I was asked to introduce myself, answer a basic question about my project, discuss the role of AI and whether I felt the need to gain AI-related skills, and explain how I use AI in daily life. Other questions covered handling an uncooperative teammate, knowledge about TransUnion and CIBIL, family/residence, relocation preferences and future plans. The interviewer also asked about details mentioned on my resume and checked my attentiveness by asking if I remembered the interviewer from the previous round.
