Snowflake SWE Intern – Interview Experience I recently interviewed for the SWE Intern (Core Engineering) role at Snowflake. The technical screening was conducted as a voice-based interview with an AI interviewer. The round was mainly focused on DSA, problem-solving, and role-related technical scenarios. I was asked coding/problem-solving questions involving arrays, strings, hash maps, sorting, binary search, two pointers, and basic graph/tree concepts. The interviewer focused not only on getting the correct answer but also on my approach, reasoning, complexity analysis, and handling of edge cases. I had to explain my solution step-by-step before discussing possible optimizations. There were also questions around OOP, DBMS, SQL, operating systems, and computer fundamentals, along with discussions about my projects and the technical decisions behind them. Overall, the round was DSA-heavy and focused more on problem-solving ability than memorized theory. I would recommend being comfortable with medium-level LeetCode problems, especially arrays, strings, hashing, binary search, trees/graphs, and greedy techniques.
