The interview mainly focused on DSA, C++, and core CS fundamentals. I was asked questions on arrays, linked lists, trees/graphs and basic problem-solving, along with time and space complexity. There were also several C++ and OOP questions, including pointers, inheritance, polymorphism and memory-related concepts. The interviewer also asked about OS concepts such as processes vs threads, synchronization and memory management, along with some computer architecture questions. My projects were discussed in detail, especially the design choices and challenges I faced. Overall, the difficulty was moderate. The interviewer focused more on understanding my approach and fundamentals rather than just getting the final answer. I would recommend preparing DSA thoroughly and being very comfortable with C/C++, OOPs, OS and your resume projects.
