The interview process consisted of 2 rounds: a Problem-Solving Round and an HR/HC Round. Problem-Solving Round The round began with a brief self-introduction, followed by a few general questions about my background and experiences. The interviewer then moved on to my projects, asking in-depth questions about why I selected those projects, what motivated me to work on them, and my overall involvement. There were also a few questions aimed at evaluating my creative thinking and interests beyond academics. The interviewer asked whether I had participated in or worked on anything creative. The technical discussion focused mainly on Computer Science fundamentals. I was asked to write a program/syntax for checking whether a string is a palindrome. Questions were also asked on core OOP concepts such as Abstraction and Encapsulation. A significant part of the interview was dedicated to SQL and DBMS, where I was asked several questions to assess my understanding of databases and ability to write SQL queries. The interviewer also covered DSA and basic algorithms, including topics such as Binary Search and Merge Sort, along with a few other fundamental programming and problem-solving questions. Overall, this round focused on technical fundamentals, SQL, DSA, projects, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Having a clear understanding of the basics and being able to explain concepts confidently was important. HR / HC Round The second round was an HR/HC (Human Capital) round, which was primarily non-technical. The main objective was to understand my personality, communication style, thought process, and overall suitability for the role. The interviewer asked a mix of general, situational, and logical questions to understand how I approach different situations and how well I communicate my thoughts. Overall, the interview process placed strong emphasis on technical fundamentals, SQL, basic DSA, project knowledge, logical thinking, creativity, communication skills, and overall fitment for the organization.
