Detailed experience

The interview process consisted of 3 rounds: Technical Interview 1, Technical Interview 2, and HR Round. Technical Interview 1 The first technical interview was conducted offline and lasted for around 40 minutes. The round started with a brief self-introduction, after which the interviewer moved to the projects mentioned on my resume. He asked me to explain my projects in detail, including the problem I was trying to solve, my contribution, the technologies I used, and the overall implementation. There were several follow-up questions to check my understanding of the projects. Since I had mentioned a minor in Data Science on my resume, the interviewer also asked questions related to Data Science. The discussion covered fundamental concepts and focused on checking whether I had a clear understanding of the subjects I had studied. After that, I was given a coding question in C++. I first explained my approach and then implemented the solution. I was able to solve the problem and explain my logic to the interviewer. Overall, this round focused mainly on projects, Data Science fundamentals, and coding ability. Technical Interview 2 The second technical interview lasted for approximately 45 minutes and followed a similar structure to the first round. The interviewer started with questions based on my resume and projects. He asked about my technical experience and went deeper into some of the technologies and concepts I had mentioned. I was then given another coding question, where I was expected to explain my approach before implementing the solution. A major part of this round focused on Data Engineering and ETL pipelines. The interviewer asked questions related to how ETL pipelines work, the different stages involved in extracting, transforming, and loading data, and the overall flow of data through a pipeline. There were also some practical and scenario-based discussions around data engineering concepts. Overall, this round tested both my problem-solving skills and understanding of data engineering concepts. HR Round The final round was primarily an HR and fitment round. The interviewer asked some standard HR questions along with questions based on my resume and background. The discussion focused on understanding my interests, career goals, strengths, previous experiences, and expectations from the role. Compared to the technical rounds, this round was more conversational. The main objective was to understand whether my background, communication skills, interests, and career aspirations aligned with the role and the organization. Overall, the interview process focused strongly on resume preparation, projects, coding, Data Science, Data Engineering, ETL pipelines, and basic HR preparation. Being thorough with everything mentioned on the resume and having clear fundamentals would be particularly helpful for these rounds.
