Detailed experience

## Interview Experience Duration:** ~1 hour Platform:** Intervue The interview lasted around **1 hour** and was conducted through **Intervue**. I believe the interview process may have been outsourced. The interview started with a brief **introduction and exchange of introductions**. ### 1. DSA I was asked two coding questions: *Grid BFS / Number of Paths:** Given a grid with obstacles, find the number of possible paths from `(1,1)` to `(n,m)`. It was a relatively simple BFS/grid-based problem. *Largest Divisible Subarray:** Find the **length of the largest subarray whose sum is divisible by ****`k`**. ### 2. OOPs The interviewer asked about the **Diamond Problem** in multiple inheritance. He also gave me an inheritance-based coding example to check my understanding. where, `D` inherits `A` through both `B` and `C`, so calling `obj.show()` creates an **ambiguity**. This is the classic **Diamond Problem**, which can be resolved using **virtual inheritance**. ### 3. Operating Systems The OS questions were mainly theoretical. I was asked about: *Fragmentation** and its types — internal and external fragmentation *Deadlock** Ways to **prevent deadlocks** ### 4. DBMS The interviewer asked about: *ACID properties** *Candidate Key** ### 5. Questions for the Interviewer At the end, I asked the interviewer about his role. He mentioned that he works as an **FDE (Field Development Engineer)**, which is somewhat different from a typical **SDE (Software Development Engineer)** role. He then explained the responsibilities and differences between the two roles. Overall, the interview covered **DSA + OOPs + OS + DBMS**, with a mix of coding and theoretical questions. The DSA questions were fairly straightforward, while the CS fundamentals focused more on conceptual understanding.
