The placement process began with an online assessment conducted on campus, which was a three-hour proctored exam covering English and verbal ability, Linux commands, programming in C, Java, and Python, as well as SQL, with results displayed immediately after submission in percentage format, and since I scored 80% I was able to clear this toughest elimination round where out of around 700 students only about nine were shortlisted; the second round was an online technical interview scheduled the next day and completely resume-based, starting with a self-introduction and then moving into C language questions, but when I clarified that I was stronger in Python the interviewer switched accordingly and asked about OOPs concepts, polymorphism, differences between list, tuple, and dictionary, docstrings, lambda functions, list comprehensions, and the difference between break, continue, and pass, followed by SQL questions on DDL versus DML, queries to create and retrieve data, and Linux commands such as checking the current directory, deleting files and folders, and navigating between directories, and at the end I asked about company products, tech stack, and growth opportunities, which helped me stand out, and out of nine students five were selected for HR; the third round was the HR interview, which was conversational and included questions like whether this was my first interview, if I had been selected before, why not selected earlier, family background, last trip, and willingness to relocate, with the focus being on attitude, learning mindset, and relocation flexibility; ultimately I cleared all three rounds, received the Letter of Intent after the HR round, and later the offer letter with joining location in Bangalore, and the key tips from the process were that the online test is the biggest filter, it is important to be honest about strengths, know your resume thoroughly, prepare questions to ask the interviewer, be genuine in the HR round, and focus on Python, SQL, and Linux, making the overall experience smooth, professional, and insightful.
