This experience details the hiring process for an Associate Software Engineer role at Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSW).
Round 1: Technical Round (Online Assessment)
This was an online assessment on the SHL platform. It included MCQs based on core subjects and verbal ability, along with two easy-medium level DSA problems. The candidate easily solved both DSA problems and cleared this round.
Round 2: Technical + Behavioral Round (Online Interview)
The online interview began with the candidate's introduction, followed by questions about their projects. The interviewer was impressed with the project's structure, approach, and use-case. A very basic DSA question was then asked. Following this, questions on core subjects and Linux were posed. The interviewer also asked questions related to COA (Computer Organization and Architecture) and digital engineering, which the candidate mostly answered, with a few exceptions.
The interview also included behavioral and situation-based questions, such as "what would you do if one of your teammates went on an unplanned leave due to some emergency and his work is pending with a close deadline?". The interviewer was quite impressed with the answers. The candidate cleared this round and received an offer.
