Robert Bosch visited the campus to hire for Associate Software Engineer and Assistant Software Engineer roles. Eligibility required a minimum of 60% or 6 CGPA in B.Tech with no standing backlogs.
Round 1: Online Test
The online assessment was scheduled for June 21st. It had 5-6 sections covering Technical, Logical, Quantitative, Communication, and Specialization/Coding. The duration was 100-120 minutes and included MCQs. For Electronics and Communication branches, MCQs were from Power Electronics, Basic Electronics, Integrated Circuits, 8085 MicroProcessor, and Analog Electronics. For CS/IT students, MCQs were from DBMS, OS, CN, and one medium-level coding question (choice of Java, C++, Python). Around 435 out of 786 students were shortlisted.
Pre-Placement Talk:
On June 25th, "Bosch Day" (Pre-Placement talk) was conducted on campus.
Round 2: Technical Interview (Online Mode)
This round was scheduled after Bosch Day and lasted around 30 minutes. The interviewer started with an introduction and then deeply inquired about projects, including how they worked and the inspiration behind them. Questions asked included:
The candidate was able to answer all questions correctly, impressing the interviewer. There was no HR round for candidates selected in the Technical Interview. Tips included clearing basics of electronics and programming languages, having strong knowledge of projects, and only mentioning items on the resume that can be explained well.
