The recruitment drive involved ZS Associates visiting the campus.
Round 1 (Online Test - MCQs): This round consisted of an online test with only MCQs, divided into 4 sections: Verbal, Logical Reasoning, CS Subject Quiz, and Aptitude. Candidates shortlisted from this round proceeded to a Video interview round.
Round 2 (Case Study Round): This was a challenging case study round, lasting 35 minutes, primarily based on DBMS. Candidates were asked to write SQL queries or algorithms. The focus was on the logic rather than a complete answer. Some situation-based questions and guesstimates were also posed. Additionally, the interviewer presented three puzzles, including one about measuring 6L of water from 4L and 9L buckets, and another about measuring 45 minutes using two identical wires. Approximately 80% of the students were eliminated after this round.
Round 3 (Technical + HR): In this final round, the candidate's projects, as detailed in their resume, were thoroughly discussed. The interviewer also posed three more puzzles, though the specific puzzles were not recalled by the candidate. Questions on DBMS, focusing on joins, group by, and other related concepts, were asked. A coding question to "Swap two numbers without using the third variable" was given, and the candidate was asked to write corner test cases. Questions related to Team Management were also part of this round, alongside common HR questions such as "Why ZS" and inquiries about strengths and weaknesses.
The candidate was ultimately selected. A key tip provided was to be confident and maintain a smile throughout the interview.
