UBS conducted a campus visit in mid-October 2023.
Round 1: Online Assessment Test
This round was conducted in college computer labs, consisting of 50 questions within 1 hour and 15 minutes. It included a coding question to find the lexicographically smallest string from a given string and a vector of strings by rearranging characters. The remaining 50 questions were MCQs on CS fundamentals like Java, OOP, OS, and aptitude.
Round 2: Technical Interview
Scheduled after 3 days, this round started with a self-introduction. The interviewer delved into projects, asking about the choice of MERN stack, specific roles in the project, and reasons for using MongoDB. Database management systems knowledge was tested, with a specific MySQL query asked (display author and number of books, explaining execution sequence). Questions on PLSQL and triggers were also posed. OOP concepts, specifically different types of inheritance, were covered. The interview lasted around 45 minutes.
Round 3: HR Round
This round lasted approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Questions included: self-introduction, family background, hobbies/interests, greatest strength/weakness, handling team conflict, dream company, 5-year plan, and "Are there any questions you'd like to ask about UBS?".
Tips: Only include skills and experiences in the resume that you are truly confident in.
