Result: Rejected
Difficulty: Medium (Data Analysis round challenging)
Rounds: 4 rounds
Topics Asked: Python Programming, String Manipulation, Problem Solving, Technical Writing, Data Analysis (Numpy, Pandas, SQL)
The candidate applied for both Data Analyst and Software Engineer roles during a campus drive.
Round 1: 1st Coding with Python (Elimination Round)
The question was described as fairly easy for those comfortable with Python. It involved identifying if strings are identical by containing the same characters. For example, given a list like ["good", "god", "abc", "bac"].
Round 2: 2nd Coding with Python (Elimination Round)
This question was straightforward for those comfortable with Python. The problem involved several frogs on a line, each at an integer coordinate with a specific tongue size (e.g., the `i`th frog is at coordinate `xi` and has a tongue size `si`).
Round 3: Technical Writing
Candidates were presented with a conversation between a user and a model and then given two responses to assess. The task was to rate the best choice based on a detailed analysis of Response A and B, focusing on correctness, factuality, logical flow, contextual relevance, and consistency.
Round 4: Data Analysis
This round involved a real-world-style exercise with three datasets (Cardio_alco.csv, Cardio_base.csv, Covid_data.csv). Candidates had to answer multiple-choice questions based on their analysis of these datasets. This round was considered challenging to complete within the allotted time.
Overall Experience: The first three rounds were relatively easy to crack, but the Data Analysis round was challenging. Despite performing well in all rounds, the candidate was not selected for the role.
