The candidate applied through a Google form.
First Round – Online Assessment: This was on Interviewbit. The candidate received a shortlist email after one day.
Next Round – CCAT (Cognitive Test): This was on the Crossover platform. The candidate had to solve >= 40 out of 50 questions in 15 minutes to be shortlisted for interviews. Questions were based on English, Maths, and Reasoning, with English being the most difficult part.
R0 (30 minutes) – Resume Round: This round was taken by an SDE-2 and focused on project and resume discussion. The interviewer asked the candidate to choose a project or internship, and then went into very deep and minute details about what was done and how. The interviewer was impressed and ended the round in 15 minutes. Tips included preparing every tech stack on the resume very well.
R1 (1 hour) – DSA Round: This round was also taken by an SDE-2. It started with a discussion on extracurriculars and Positions of Responsibility. The interviewer then moved to DSA and asked a Tree DP question. The candidate initially struggled but, with a little help, figured out the solution and coded it. The question was estimated to be around 1500–1600 rated on Codeforces.
R2 (1 hour) – System Design + HR Round: This round was taken by a Vice President. An open-ended problem was asked, and the candidate had to propose a technology-based solution. There was a deep dive into projects, with the interviewer asking the candidate to open a GitHub repository and explain each line and its functionality. Questions on the project's scalability and system design were also asked. Some HR questions were also part of this round. The candidate was selected.
Tips: Competitive Programming is necessary. Projects are also necessary, as is development. System Design helps in R2. Prepare projects and resume very well, and have good communication skills.
