This candidate applied for a Software Engineer role through eLitmus and went through four rounds of interviews.
The first round was a written test with an overall difficulty described as easy to medium. It included an aptitude section and a coding round with two questions. The candidate mentioned that one coding question was hard and the other was easy.
The TR began with an introduction, followed by an extensive discussion (around 15 minutes) on the candidate's projects. The interviewer asked questions related to the project. As the candidate was comfortable in Python, the interviewer focused on Python-specific questions, such as: "What is the difference between List and Tuple?", "Which one is faster, List or Tuple?", and "What is Namespace in Python?". Some basic HTML and CSS questions were also asked. This round lasted approximately 45 minutes.
The MR also started with an introduction. The interviewer focused on assessing the candidate's ability to manage situations. Questions included OOPS concepts like "What is Class, Object, and Method Overloading?", "What is Agile methodology in software development?". The interviewer also asked how the candidate would cope with challenging situations and adapt to working with new technologies if selected. Both TR and MR happened on the same day, with results communicated within 2-3 hours.
The HR round occurred about five days after the TR and MR. This round typically involves standard HR questions.
