Round 1: Aptitude Test with 2 Coding Questions
Conducted on the CoCubes platform, this round consisted of an Aptitude test and a Coding section. The Aptitude test had 60 questions (20 each from Logical, Verbal, and Quantitative ability) to be completed in 60 minutes. The Coding section included two questions of Easy to Moderate level, with a 30-minute time limit. Languages allowed were C/C++ and Java (Python was not permitted). 40 students were selected from this round.
Round 2: Personal Interview (Technical - Online on Zoom - 1 hour)
This purely technical round began with a self-introduction and a question about the candidate's knowledge of TIAA. A detailed discussion followed on their projects and internships. The candidate was then asked to share their screen and write three different codes: one for the Fibonacci series, another to swap two numbers without using a temporary variable, and a third for sorting an array. Subsequently, a problem statement was provided, requiring the candidate to write SQL queries. Questions on OOPs concepts and DBMS concepts (Joins, Normalization, DDL, DML) were also asked.
Round 3: Personal Interview (Mix of Technical + HR - Online on Zoom - 30-35 minutes)
This round also started with an introduction, followed by discussions on projects and internships. The interviewer asked about lessons learned from internships and how they contributed to academics. The candidate was then asked to explain OOPs concepts with real-time examples, without providing definitions. Some DBMS questions and OS questions (specifically Linux commands) were posed. The round concluded with several HR questions. The results were announced on the same day after this round, with 5 students from the college being selected.
