SLB shortlisted 200 candidates based on resume and CGPA from CSAI/CS/IT backgrounds for an intern Online Assessment.

Round 1: Online Assessment (OA): The OA assessed Java understanding, programming skills, and problem-solving. It consisted of 10 Java theory questions (10-minute window), 10 Java code output questions (10-minute window), and 2 coding questions. The coding questions involved converting decimal numbers to binary and identifying inputs within the Fibonacci sequence. The tests were considered "quite easy," allowing most candidates to complete them in about 30 minutes. From this round, 55 candidates were selected.

Round 2: Group Discussion (GD): Candidates were grouped into sets of ten to debate a given topic; the candidate's topic was "social media is Boon or pain". This round scrutinized communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills. The top three from each group were selected.

Technical Round (started but candidate not selected for Round 3): The candidate was asked to write code for two problems: transforming "SHWETA" into "S_H_W_E_T_A" and removing duplicates from an array. The questions were easy, and the candidate answered them all. Despite this, the candidate was not selected for Round 3.

Tips: The candidate emphasized knowing one's resume well, preparing core subjects thoroughly, and verbalizing thought processes while coding.
