Sirius CDW conducted an on-campus drive at the candidate's college, starting with a pre-placement talk about the organization, technology, hiring process, and exam pattern.
Round 1: Online Test
This was an elimination round with 60 MCQs to be completed in 60 minutes. Topics covered Quantitative Aptitude (10%), Reasoning, Pseudo Code, DBMS, Java, OOPS, Data Structures, Operating Systems, and JavaScript (90% technical MCQs). The difficulty was easy/medium, and there was a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer. Out of 700 initial candidates, 50 qualified for the next round.
Round 2: Programming Test
This round was purely programming, and candidates could choose their preferred language. Three programming questions were asked. The candidate mentioned writing three approaches for the first problem, including an optimized one for larger inputs. The third question involved "subtraction elements in 2 doubly linked lists." 16 candidates out of 50 made it to the next round.
Round 3: Technical HR (1 on 1)
This was an in-person, one-on-one technical interview. Questions included: "Tell me about yourself," questions based on the candidate's projects (for which the candidate received kudos), "Find the element that appears once in an array where every other element appears twice," "How many handshakes would happen among 66 people in a party" (arithmetic progression), "Explain React JS lifecycle," "Explain states in React," "What happens if 1000 or 5000 Components depend on a single state," "How to optimize that re-rendering," and "Explain OOPS concepts with The Baahubali movie" (to test real-world mapping of OOPS concepts).
Round 4: Panel Discussion (TECH HR + HR)
