Sirion visited the campus of J. C Bose University of Science and Technology around September 2023, hiring for the position of Software Developer Associate. A total of 280+ students registered, and 3 were finally selected.
Round 1 (Aptitude and Coding): This round included Aptitude questions and two coding questions. The coding questions were based on Dynamic Programming and Permutations and Combinations. This round was noted as difficult for shortlisting students due to the coding questions.
Round 2 (Technical Interview 1): This round was conducted by a Software Developer. Questions covered OOPS concepts (What is OOPS? What is Inheritance?), Data Structures (Implement Queue Data Structure, Code to Reverse a given LinkedList), and Operating Systems (Types of Operating Systems).
Round 3 (Technical Interview 2): This round focused on databases and projects. Questions included "What is a NoSQL Database?", discussions on the candidate's resume and projects, an SQL Query to find the Nth highest salary from a table, and "Scaling MongoDB Database for a large number of users with a master-slave mechanism".
Round 4 (Technical Interview 3): This round involved more DSA questions, specifically "Code to Find the two largest elements from Array", along with other DSA questions.
