The first round was a Technical Interview with a panel of three interviewers. It started with a self-introduction, followed by an in-depth discussion of the candidate's most proud project. The interviewers assessed if the candidate truly built the project, explored alternative solutions, understood design decisions, and considered real-world applicability. Since MongoDB was used in the project, DBMS questions were asked, including the difference between authentication and authorization, ACID properties, MongoDB transaction management, backend connection, and HTTP request types. OOP concepts were covered, requiring explanations for both technical and non-technical audiences, with deep dives into inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, and encapsulation using relatable examples. The DSA round included the LeetCode 2-Sum problem (brute-force, two-pointer, and hashmap solutions), sorting algorithms and their time complexities, and the internals of the STL sort algorithm. An aptitude question, the "Bucket Measurement Problem," was also asked.
The second round was a Techno-HR round, a blend of technical and personality questions with two HRs. One HR focused on project details, while the other explored background and opinions. Questions included opinions on AI, family background, Python vs. C++ differences, whether Python is compiled or interpreted, and discussions about C++ or Java projects.
