Experience:

The Bank of America placement rounds were described as "very smooth." The company was one of the first to visit VIT Chennai around mid-July. Candidates registered on a NeoPad portal and uploaded resumes.

First Round: HireVue Link (around mid-August)

• Consisted of five questions with a 48-hour timeline to complete (90 minutes total).
• Question 1: About academic eligibility for the role (academic skills, branch, etc.).
• The candidate also mentioned reading on GeeksforGeeks about HireVue.

The candidate was selected for the role the next day.

Second Round (Face-to-Face Interview):

• The interviewer was "pretty chill."
• Asked for a self-introduction.
• Given a coding question (LeetCode easy-medium level) to solve on a WordPad or similar.
• Asked to explain the pseudo-code and approach, then code it.
• Followed by 3-4 questions about Data Analytics.
• The interview lasted 60-65 minutes.

Third Round (Another Technical Interview):

• Received a call for this interview with only 10 minutes notice.
• This round was "quite tough."
• The interviewer asked to open VS Code and code a "good question" (LeetCode medium level).
• The candidate provided a good code, then was asked to optimize it. After 5 minutes of understanding, an optimized approach was given, which impressed the interviewer.

The candidate's CGPA was consistently above 8.8. There was no specific HR round; both technical rounds included a "little bit HR."

Suggestions: For colleges with large batches, a decent CGPA (above 8.5) is important, especially for Computer Science students. Practice coding, and revise DBMS, OOPS, and OS concepts, as they can be asked anytime.
