Topics Asked: Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA - graph, trees, recursion, DP, hashmaps, strings, arrays), Core Subjects (DBMS, OOPS, OS, Compiler), Projects, Web Sockets
The application was made through a link provided by the college. The interview process consisted of two main rounds: a written online technical round and a technical interview round.
The first round was an online coding interview, which was quite difficult. It included one coding problem described as the "Chocolate Problem," which was of moderate difficulty with an average time of 15 minutes and an 85% success rate.
The second round was a technical interview. This round was also quite difficult, with many questions asked regarding the candidate's projects. Questions were also asked about web sockets, which were part of the candidate's projects. The interviewer also delved into core subjects such as DBMS, OOPS (which was highlighted as most important), OS, and Compiler design. Strong knowledge of DSA, including topics like graphs, trees, recursion, dynamic programming, hashmaps, strings, and arrays, was crucial.
The candidate attributed their selection to honesty, in-depth knowledge of DSA and projects, and maintaining calmness during the interview.
