Schlumberger visited the campus to recruit 3rd-year BE students for internships. The initial shortlisting and first two rounds were outsourced to FirstNaukri.com.
Round 1 (Coding and Aptitude): This round had one coding question, which was similar to converting a given decimal number into an irreducible fraction.
Round 2 (Communication Check Round): This was an abrupt call where the candidate was asked to briefly introduce themselves and answer a question about whether being a team player or a team leader is more important. The call lasted about 1 minute and 30 seconds. Other candidates were asked "What do you know about Schlumberger?" and "Tell me about one of your projects?".
Round 3 (Technical Round - Video Conferencing on MS Teams): This was a general discussion and resume probing round with two interviewers (cameras off). Questions included: "Do you like to work in a team or as an individual?", questions about projects and the implementation details, and "Some real-life examples where MySQL and MongoDB are used."
