Experience:

The candidate applied through Scaler's careers portal and received an online test link after two days.

Online Test: This round included two easy coding questions (basic if-else and arrays) and several MCQs covering JavaScript, SQL, and Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture.

Coding Interview Round (1 hour): The round started with introductions. The interviewer then asked resume-based questions and a specific coding problem: "Print a given matrix in spiral form". Following this, the interviewer inquired about the candidate's comfort with both frontend and backend development and then assigned a full-stack project to be completed and submitted.

Development Round (1 hour): After the project submission, the interview focused on the project's technical aspects. Questions were asked about the chosen tech stack, database schema, and APIs. The interviewer thoroughly tested the project's functionalities, looking for edge cases, and then asked the candidate to propose and implement changes to the database schema for improved efficiency.

Cultural Fit Round (15 minutes): This final round involved behavioral questions aimed at understanding the candidate's purpose and motivation for the internship.

Overall Experience: The entire recruitment process took two weeks. The candidate reported a great experience, noting that interviewers were helpful and primarily focused on assessing the thought process rather than specific tech stacks.
