Round 1: Online Assessment
This round had 17 questions in total, comprising 15 MCQs and 2 coding questions. The MCQs covered core subjects like OOP, DBMS, OS, CNS, and Data Structures and Algorithms. Out of 211 students, 20 were selected for the next rounds. Candidates were asked to provide their top 3 preferred programming languages (Scala, Java, JavaScript, or C) for the subsequent rounds.
Round 2: First Technical Interview
The interviewer was friendly. The round began with a self-introduction. The candidate explained their final-year group project, followed by questions related to the project, including their role and its distinctions from existing applications. Questions on OOPs covered the four pillars of OOPS and the difference between abstract classes and interfaces. Hashmap-related questions were also asked. The interview then moved to the main part, which was DSA. This interview lasted for 1 hour.
Round 3: Second Technical Interview
This round also started with a self-introduction and project explanation, similar to the first round. Detailed questions were asked about encapsulation and abstraction with real-life examples, and why strings are immutable. The internal working of a hashmap was discussed in depth. A Data Structure and Algorithm question was posed. This interview lasted for 1 hour 20 minutes. Only three students were selected for the HR round.
