The recruitment process for Polestar Solutions consisted of 4 rounds.
Round 1: Aptitude and Technical MCQs. This round was considered easy and covered basic aptitude, pseudocode, and SQL.
Round 2: Communication Test. This was a non-elimination round (though it might change for 2023 placements). It was quite easy, involving 3 general questions where the candidate had to speak for at least 1-1.5 minutes each. An example question was: "Goals which felt achievable, but you were able to achieve it. Explain".
Round 3: Technical Interview. This round largely depended on the candidate's introduction and resume. The interviewer advised practicing puzzles from GeeksforGeeks and being thorough with the resume. For developers, Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) were a must. Otherwise, the interview would focus on Puzzles, Maths, and Guesstimates. For this candidate, it was a DSA round with 2 questions: one about Fibonacci numbers and another about shifting odd numbers to the left and even numbers to the right in an array. Questions about the time complexity of the codes, projects, and management skills were also asked.
Round 4: HR Round. This was described as an easy round, primarily a communication check to assess personality and communication skills.
