Section 1: Application Process & Online Assessment
Profiles were shortlisted based on resumes and tech stacks. The online assessment included MCQs on Computer Fundamentals (OOPs, DBMS, OS, Networking), Reasoning and Aptitude questions, and a few coding problems to test problem-solving skills. Clearing this round led to the interview process.
Section 2: Technical Round 1
This 40-minute round focused on resume-based discussions and problem-solving. The interviewer discussed internship experience and projects in detail. Challenging DSA problems included "Array rotation with minimal space" (optimizing time and space complexity) and "Finding the first missing positive number in an unsorted array". The candidate had to explain their approach, write an optimized solution, and analyze time and space complexity.
Section 3: Technical Round 2
This second technical round was a 40-minute technical-cum-managerial interview. It began with an introduction and discussion of the resume and projects. A DSA problem on Arrays was asked: "Asked to implement stack using array and queue Both". The candidate explained a brute force approach and then an optimized solution. Questions on Core Java & OOP Concepts, such as classes, objects, inheritance, and polymorphism, were also covered.
Section 4: HR Round
The final HR round at NAB India is considered very important for filtering candidates. The interviewer asked standard HR questions about the candidate's background, strengths, weaknesses, and career goals. Joining details, work location, and expected responsibilities were discussed. The conversation also touched upon NAB's work culture and values to assess fit.
