MSCI visited Banasthali Vidhyapith in the first week of September 2025 for a 6-month internship offer from January to June 2026, with potential PPO. The internship was for the Tech & Data Ops department. Out of 194 students, 46 were shortlisted after the online test, and 6 were hired.
Online Test (17th September): Consisted of 12 MCQs and 2 coding questions, both around LeetCode Medium level. Results were announced the same day.
Technical Level 1 (In-Person, 18th September): Started with greetings and self-introduction. Questions included: "Why do I prefer Java over Python?," "use case and differences between them," "Why do I think python is not complex?," favorite project and steps followed, data pre-processing and organization in projects, database management experience in projects. One DSA question was asked: "find the longest palindrome in a string of a very long size." The candidate explained approaches and wrote pseudo-code using two pointers on paper. Other topics were dangling pointers, garbage collection methods, processes, and threads.
Technical Level 2 (In-Person): The result of Level 1 was declared immediately. The round started with greetings and self-introduction. Questions included: "What topics had I prepared from DSA?" (honesty was advised), "Do you know about BST?" The overview indicated a focus on logical code building and conceptual clarity of BST.
HR Round (In-Person): Result of Level 2 was also declared immediately. Questions included: "How was I feeling?," "how is the experience so far?," "Was it my first interview?," "Would I prefer to work abroad or not?," "What about my higher studies?," "Would I take a break from my career?," introduction of family background, and qualities acquired as an eldest sister.
