Experience:

Tarun Rana shared his interview experience for a Backend Development Intern role, which he secured through an on-campus placement. The process comprised five rounds.

Initial Shortlisting: The company's eligibility criteria required students to have 70% throughout 10th, 12th, and graduation.

Technical MCQ (1 hour): This round included questions from Java, Database, Input/Output, and DSA.

Assignment: Candidates were given an assignment to create a small web application.

First Technical Interview (1 hour): The interview primarily focused on Core Java, covering topics such as Exception Handling, Multi-threading, and OOPs concepts (and their implementation in Java). DSA questions related to Trees were asked. Two coding questions were presented: one to find a cycle in a linked list, and another, which was a larger problem the candidate could not recall. The interviewer also asked to modify functionality within the previously submitted assignment.

Managerial Round: This round included a few Java questions, along with HR-related inquiries, such as willingness to relocate to Bangalore. Since the candidate had worked with Node.js, he was also asked about his willingness to work with Spring Boot or Angular.

The candidate rated his overall interview experience as 8 out of 10.
